When is The Teepee Culture 2020 happening?

Is the Teepee Culture Festival kid-friendly?

The festival is certainly kid-friendly, in fact a lot of workshops, masterclasses and immersive activities have specially been designed for kids. Hope to see you and your little ones at the festival :)


Will there be accommodation facilities at the festival?

The festival will have a camping setup for all the guests who will opt for the overnight and the festival pass. One day pass does not include accomodation. See you!


What kind of activities will be at the festival?

The Wilderness festival will have activities related to various categories like Immersive Explorations, Wilderness Science Workshops, Photography Masterclasses, Space Science & Astronomy, Artist Village, Survival & Adventure where you will learn wildlife survival tricks, The Jungle Theatre for music and performances and Nature & Wellness.


Will there be F&B at the festival?

Yes, there will be a range of food stalls at the event & some authentic food experiences (do note that food is not included in the festival entry pass). Please carry cash to the festival.


How to reach the venue?

Discovery Village is on the foothills of Nandi Hills and 1.5 hours (50 kms) drive away from Bengaluru. You can drive down in your private vehicle or hire a private car to reach the venue. The venue is 17.7km away from the Kempegowda International Airport. Stay tuned: An exclusive festival bus to be announced!


Do I have to get a print out for the festival or an ecopy will do?

We love the environment! Our team will be happy to see your ticket on your mobile phone. Do remember that the mobile network will be limited at the venue and hence you can keep the ticket copy downloaded on the phone.


Is there a minimum age for entry?

There is no age limit to be a part of this Wilderness Festival. However, we do insist that children below 12 years are accompanied by an adult guardian.


Can I transfer my tickets to someone else?

Transfer of tickets is not allowed.


How can I cancel my tickets?

To cancel your tickets, please email us at: . Cancellations are allowed only on medical grounds (with provided documentation) or due to natural calamities (if any). Do check our refund policy below.


What ID should I carry to the event?

You should carry your licence, PAN and/or Aadhar card to the event.


What time does the event start on each day?

Event timings are 10am to 8pm on all three days of the festival. Attendees who are camping at the festival will have access to morning trails, workshops and sessions on night photography, astro science, concert and wellness beyond the festival timings.


Is outside food/drinks allowed at the festival?

No, outside food or drinks are not allowed at the festival unless/for a medical reason.


Can I carry my pet dog to the festival?

The Teepee Culture Wilderness Festival is pet-friendly and we love animals as much as you do.


Is there anything which is not allowed to be carried inside the venue?

Drugs, weapons, sharp objects, firecrackers are not allowed to be taken inside the venue.


Will I get alcohol at the venue?

Alcohol will only be provided on Saturday night, 15th February 2020.


Is there a washroom facility at the venue?

Yes, there will be portaloos set-up at the venue.


What are the payment modes available at the event?

There will be no ATM at the event. We request all the attendees to carry cash or card (card machines will be available to make payments).


Is there a facility for the handicapped at the event?

No, unfortunately we do not have any in-house facility for the handicapped at the event but the team will be more than happy to help you out and assist in case of emergencies.


Is smoking allowed at the festival?

No, smoking and drugs are not allowed at the festival. There’s a strict policy against consumption of either. We urge you to not smoke and minimise the damage to the environment and your lungs.


Is there a facility for the handicapped at the event?

Will there be a mobile network?

Yes, the venue will have a mobile network.


Will there be a charging facility at the festival?

Yes, we will have a charging facility at the festival.


Is there a transportation facility for the guests?

We will be arranging transportation facilities for the guests through our channel partners from the city to the venue.


Is there a medical assistance / first aid facility at the festival?

Yes, we do have medical and first-aid assistance at the Festival venue. There will be doctors on standby. At The Teepee Culture Wilderness Festival, all our adventure & survival trails our esteemed & qualified team of naturalists & mountaineers will guide you through.

If I leave the festival mid-way, can I re-enter?

Yes, you can re-enter as all the attendees will be given a wrist band which has to be worn at all times for easy access to/within the venue.


Is there a refund policy?

We do have a refund policy. If you cancel your registration 45 days before the event, 50% of the fees will be refunded, 25% fees, 30 days before the event. There will be no refund one week before the event.


Things to Carry:

-Valid Photo ID Proof (Aadhar Card/Driving License)
-Quality trekking and comfortable outdoor clothes
-Good quality trekking shoes, slippers and extra pair of socks
-Carry your own water bottles, backpack and energy bars/snacks
-A pair of sunglasses
-Caps or sun hats
-Personal toiletries and medication (if any)
-Sunscreen lotion or any other skin moisturisers
-Flash light (with spare batteries)
-Insect repellent (to always be on the safer side, when you’re in the wild)
-Portable Mobile Charger
-Camera (if you have a DSLR or GoPro to join the adventure photography sessions, nature trails and other experiences)
-Music instruments (for our impromptu fun campfire jamming sessions)


Terms & Conditions

1. The right of admission is reserved with the organizer
2. 48 – 24 Hours prior to your event date, the organizer shall send you a mail with complete details of point of contact, things to carry, directions etc.
3. The organizer does not take responsibility for the loss or theft of any personal belongings or any injury that the ticket holder may accrue at the event
4. Consumption of drugs is strictly prohibited
5. Any inappropriate behavior by any of the participants shall lead to eviction from the event immediately. If an individual is found consuming drugs, the organizers reserve the right to expel them from the campsite. No refund will be provided.
6. We recommend that you arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the starting time of any event/session.
